WINTER RECESS DATES:  School will be out for Winter Recess February 22nd - February 29th and also on Town Meeting Day, March 1st.  Students will return to school on Wednesday, March 2nd.

SPRING SPORT PARENT INFORMATIONAL MEETING:  Tuesday, March 8th, 5:30pm in the auditorium.  Is your student interested in playing a spring sport?  If so, mark your calendar to attend this mandatory sports meeting for important information and to enroll your student in their selected spring sport.

FAMILY FUN/DANCE NIGHT:  Bring the whole family for a fun-filled evening whether it be dancing the night away or participating in fun-filled events and raffles on Friday, March 18th, 7:00-9:00pm, in the gym and cafeteria.  Proceeds benefit the 5th grade’s annual trip to Camp Keewaydin.

PLAN AHEAD FOR SKATELAND!  There will be a roller skating trip to Skateland (http://skatelandvt.com/ in Essex Junction for students in grades 6-7-8 on Friday night, March 18th.  The bus will be leaving PAML at 5:45pm and returning at approximately 10:30pm.  Permission slips can be obtained from the PAML Office  The cost is $10 per student which covers transportation, admission to the rink, and skate rental (inline skates too).  This trip is limited to 30 students and all interested students should turn in their signed permission slips and admission fee to the PAML Office NO LATER THAN March 16th to be eligible to attend.

PAML WINTER CARNIVAL:  All PAML students will participate in an afternoon of fun, games and team-building as they enjoy the PAML Winter Carnival following lunch on Friday afternoon, February 19th.  Some activities and events may take place outside - please ensure your student brings warm outerwear.

FOOD DRIVE:  Seventh graders are holding a ‘Food Drive’ February 8th-26th.  All donations of non-perishable items are very much appreciated and may be dropped off in any of the 7th grade classrooms.  Thank you in advance!

TERM 5 STARTS:  Wednesday, February 10, 2016

PARENT PORTAL SINGLE SIGN-ON:  A reminder that the Parent Portal Single Sign-On started on Monday, February 8th.  Videos to assist you in setting up your accounts have been posted to our website.  An issue we have just discovered is parents/guardians who have signed up on the parent portal to receive daily, weekly or monthly progress reports will need to set up their preferences again.  The previous parent portal settings did not allow multiple parent/guardian accounts; parents/guardians had to share usernames and passwords.  Single sign-on allows multiple parent/guardian accounts for one student, therefore, the preferences need to be re-created for each individual parent/guardian.

CLOTHING DRIVE:  Seventh graders are holding a ‘Clothing Drive.’  This is a great reason to clean out your drawers and closets and donate gently used, clean clothing items (no under- garments) to this worthy drive.  All donations made be dropped off in any of the 7th grade classrooms.
