Save the Date!  Mandatory Spring Sports Parent Informational Meeting on Monday, March 9th, at 5:30pm in the auditorium.

NAEP Testing for 8th Graders:  NAEP test administrators will be at PAML on Thursday morning, March 5th, to administer the NAEP (National Assessment of Educational Process) test to 8th grade students.  Ensure your 8th grader gets a good night’s sleep and eats a well-balanced breakfast prior to arriving at school.

Reminder:  Newport Music Festival for 7/8 Band & Chorus will be held on Friday, March 13th.

Winter Recess:  Monday, February 23rd - Tuesday, March 3rd.  Students will return to school on Wednesday, March 4th.

Town Meeting Day:  Don’t forget to vote on Tuesday, March 3rd  for town and school issues and budgets.  Information about the school budget can be found here:  2015-16 School Budget

Cold Weather Clothing Reminder:  Should you need to drop your child off for school before the doors are unlocked at 7:30am, please ensure they are dressed appropriately for the frigid ‘northern exposure’ weather we have been experiencing of late.  Brrrrr!!

Chili Dinner & Silent Auction:  PAML’s 8th graders would like to make dinner for you!  Come enjoy a hot and hearty chili dinner on Wednesday, February 18th from 5:00-7:00pm in the PA cafeteria.  Cost is $5 per person and $20 max per family.  While you are enjoying this delicious meal, place your bid on terrific prizes in the silent auction.

Winter Carnival & Talent Show:  PAML students will partake in winter carnival activities and a student talent show on Friday, February 20th.

Online Safety:  Detective Ryan Bjerke will be at PAML on Monday, February 9th to discuss ‘Online Safety’ with the 7th and 8th graders.  Det. Bjerke will meet with the 7th grade girls and boys (separate opportunities) beginning at 10:30am, and with the 8th grade boys at 2:00pm.  He met with the 8th grade girls last week.

Vermont Youth Risk Behavior Survey:  Students will be participating in the YRBS survey on Friday morning, February 13th.  Information about this survey was included with the report card mailing.

Save the Date:  The PAML 8th graders will be holding a Chili Dinner & Silent Auction ($5 per person and $20 max per family) on Wednesday evening, February 18th from 5:00 - 7:00pm in the cafeteria.  Enjoy a hearty, delicious dinner that will warm you to you toes and bid to win some great prizes!
