APRIL RECESS:  April 18th - 26th.  Students return to school on Monday, April 27th.

HEALTHY CHOICE FIELD TRIP TO SKATELAND FOR 5TH & 6TH GRADERS:  Ms. Lindsey, Mr. Bruce and Mr. Weiss will be chaperoning PAML 5th and 6th graders who would like to go to Skateland on Tuesday, April 21st for rollerskating and pizza.  The bus will depart PAML at 10:45am and return at 4pm.  Should your student wish to attend, permission slips can be filled out when your student is dropped off, and there is a $10 fee for each student which covers transportation, lunch, admission to the rink, and skate rental.  Scholarships are available; please speak with one of the teachers listed.

BABY PHOTOS FOR 8TH GRADERS:  All 8th grade students are asked to bring in their cutest baby photo for a video montage that will be shown at Last Chapel.  Students may hand their photos in to Mr. Noonan.  All photos will be returned.

UVM HIT PAWS A CAPPELLA GROUP will be performing for students on Thursday afternoon, April 30th.  

SPRING FLING PLANNING COMMITTEE FIELD TRIP:  Casie Grossman will take her ‘Spring Fling’ Planning Committee students to Capital Plaza Hotel & Conference Center in Montpelier on Friday, May 1st to showcase and share with other student groups how PAML is utilizing Vermont Service Learning & Leadership Project grant money.  Students will need to be dropped off at PAML by 7:00am and students will return at 2:00pm.

GREEN MOUNTAIN TECHNOLOGY & CAREER CENTER 8TH GRADE TOUR:  Jessica Dambach, PAML’s Guidance Counselor, will take 8th graders to the Green Mountain Technology & Career Center located at Lamoille Union High School in Hyde Park for a tour on Friday, May 1st from 9:45am-12:30pm.

UNBOUND SUMMER!  Incoming 7th and 8th students can spend four weeks with Ms. Kelly, Ms. Sanner, Ms. Burns and Mr. Player at ‘Unbound Summer’ from June 29th - July 24th, 8am-3pm, Monday through Friday for summer adventures on campus and beyond.  Registration forms are located in the PAML Office and openings are on a first come, first service basis as there are limited spots.  $150 per week for families who qualify for full pay lunch, $75 per week for families who qualify for reduced lunch, and FREE for families who qualify for free lunch.  Breakfast, lunch and snacks included!

3RD QUARTER REPORT CARDS:  Report cards were mailed out today - Friday, April 10th.

8TH GRADERS TO SHADOW IN THE HIGH SCHOOL:  Monday - Thursday (April 13th - 16th) from 11:05am - 1:45pm.

MIDDLE LEVEL GOLF:  Starts Wednesday, April 15th afternoon from 3-4pm.  Students do not need to know how to golf or even have equipment.  Interested students are required to sign up for golf in the PAML Office and complete the athletic form.

PAML SPRING CONCERT & ART SHOW:  Wednesday, April 15th at 6:30pm in the gymnasium.  Art show to follow the concert.

SCIENCEPALOOZA!  Friday, April 17th, 8:30-9:30am, in the cafeteria.

MUD SEASON HAS FINALLY HIT VERMONT!  Please ensure your student wears appropriate footwear this time of year.  Prevent their discomfort of wearing wet shoes by packing an extra pair of shoes should the first pair get wet.  

SPANISH LUNCH FOR STUDENTS:  On Thursday, April 9th, PAML will be celebrating Spanish culture.  Our cafeteria will be preparing a special Spanish meal for the students including paella, gazpacho and flan.  Students will dine listening to Spanish music and in a cafeteria decorated by students in our art classes.  Students will also have the opportunity to learn about Spanish culture in their humanities class.

REMINDER:  PAML Spring Concert & Art Show will be held on Wednesday, April 15th at 6:30pm in the gymnasium.  Enjoy the students’ creations at the art show following the concert.

SAVE THE DATE!  PAML’s Science Palooza on Friday, April 17th, 8:30-9:30am, in the cafeteria.  Come be amazed at the 5th and 6th grade talent our science students will exhibit with their projects!  

8th GRADERS TO SHADOW HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS:  To prepare our students for their transition in becoming a freshman this August, our 8th graders will shadow high school students during the week of April 13th to become acquainted with location of classrooms and high school academics.
